PeopleBlade is a private contact book for the relationships you already have. Bring chosen contact sources together, find someone by name or company, and keep notes you can return to before your next conversation.
Find the person, not another list
Search names, companies and contact details, narrow the list by source, and open a person's record. Imported details keep their source context, so you can understand where they came from.
Keep what you want to remember
Write and search private Markdown notes. Edit them as your understanding changes, with a history of earlier versions. Your notes and their edit history stay on your computer, outside cloud sync and agent handoffs.
Work with an agent when it helps
An agent can use the CLI to find contacts and work with records you authorize. For an explicit handoff, prepare a reviewed background file for one person. The receiver must validate it before interpreting its records; possession of a file is not permission to act for someone.
Your contact book stays yours
Use the local workspace without a cloud account. Optional sync gives you a private web view of your contacts, while the complete local book remains on your computer. Notes and their edit history are not synced.
PeopleBlade's provider import paths never retain, search, enrich from, or upload message text. Owner-supplied archives may be structurally parsed and integrity-hashed while only approved participant, timing, and relationship metadata is retained.
Choose the sources you bring
Start with supported address books and official owner archives. Review identity matches instead of merging people on a name alone. Each source has its own setup and limits.
PeopleBlade does not automate authenticated websites, copy browser cookies, guess email addresses, silently merge namesakes, or require cloud sign-in for local use.
Get started
The local CLI is publicly available as @hraness/peopleblade 0.4.1 for Bun on macOS and Linux. The authoritative SQLite contact graph stays on your machine; a web account is required only for the optional cloud projection.
