# Privacy

PeopleBlade stores its authoritative contact graph in private local SQLite. Local source records, provider credentials, message bodies, note bodies, archives, and local paths do not enter the optional cloud projection.

## Optional cloud projection

If you enable cloud access, PeopleBlade sends a bounded normalized projection to its private service. That projection can include canonical contact fields, active contact methods, aggregate interaction facts, reviewed identity anchors, and enrichment evidence. It does not replace the local database as the source of truth.

## PeopleBlade mailing list

If you use the footer subscription form, your email address, the `peopleblade` audience identifier, and the form source are sent to Hraness Accounts at [account.hraness.com](https://account.hraness.com). Hraness Accounts records the pending request, and Resend sends a confirmation message from `news.hraness.com`. You are not subscribed until you confirm that message.

Mailing consent is separate from a PeopleBlade cloud account and every other Hraness audience. The unsubscribe link in a PeopleBlade message removes only the PeopleBlade subscription.

## Analytics

The public website may use privacy-preserving PostHog analytics when its production project key is configured. PeopleBlade does not send the local contact graph to analytics.
